Next generation tennis players from across Australia and New Zealand have converged on the Gold Coast to compete at the 2021 Australian Teams Championships presented by Kia at KDV Sport in Carrara, Queensland.
Some of the finest young talent in NSW is amongst the group of more than 150 players to contest the tournament.
Competition gets underway on Friday for players competing in the 11/u and 13/u championships, with 15/u teams set to compete from 1-4 July.
As well as the silverware, players will be vying for the award of ‘Most Driven’ player. Presenting partner Kia along with a selection panel will nominate a player from each respective age group who has displayed values of ‘Commit, Compete and Respect’. The winners will attend a clinic with Billie Jean Cup Captain Alicia Molik at the Grasscourt Championships in October.
