Tennis NSW is excited to announce that Angela Ruchin, CFA, CPA has been appointed to the Tennis NSW Board of Directors as an Appointed Director.
Angela holds multiple undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in finance, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Certified Practising Accountant. Angela works as a senior consultant for JANA Investment Advisors, heading up the Sydney Infrastructure team.
Angela brings a wealth of experience as a director including the Airport Link Sydney, Bonnyrigg Social Housing, Mater Hospital Newcastle, North Queensland Airports and the Port of Newcastle. She is also the current Company Secretary and Director of Queer Screen Limited, a not-for-profit organisation that organises the Mardi Gras and Queer Screen Film Festivals on an annual basis.
In addition to her wealth of experience that she brings to our Board, she was a former competitive tennis player and continues to enjoy the love of our game.
Tennis NSW President, Melissa Achten said “Tennis NSW are excited to welcome Angela to our Board of Directors. Angela’s experience as a Director and expertise in accounting will provide an important skillset to the Board. We are looking forward to working with Angela to govern our great sport across NSW”.
Angela’s appointment was affective from 10 August 2021 and she will serve an initial term of three years.
