TENNIS AUSTRALIA 2022 SUPER 10s

The 2022 Super 10s Competition is due to recommence in February this year, and we are calling on players to register their interest, now.

The first competition for the year will be played at SOPTC and Parramatta Tennis Association courts, over ten weeks, across term 1 and term 2.

Players with 2012, 2013, and 2014 birth years are eligible to enter.

The top 25 players (based on UTR) will receive a formal invitation, while a further 11 players will be selected based on their performances at one of our trial days.

High-performing players will be selected for the annual ACT v NSW All-Stars Challenge match, as well as having the opportunity to represent NSW at the National Super 10s, at the 2023 Australian Open, in Melbourne.

TENNIS AUSTRALIA 2022 METROPOLITAN ZONE SQUADS

The 2022 Metropolitan Zone Squads are due to recommence in February 2022, and we are calling on players to register their interest now.

Squads are run at venues across the six metropolitan zones, by some of Sydney’s leading coaches.

Squads will be run eight weeks per term and are for the 11U and 13U age groups.

Players with a 2011 and 2012 birth year are eligible for the 11U squads. Players with a 2009 and 2010 birth year are eligible for the 13U squads.

High-performing players can be “guested” into the National Development Squad (NDS) at SOPTC, based on the recommendation of their Zone Squad coach.

13U Squad players are also eligible for the NSW Super 13s competition.

To be eligible for the NDS you need to be ranked in the top eight (UTR) in your age group in NSW. The next 24 players are eligible for Zone Squads and will receive a formal invitation.

Players who are not selected based on their UTR can gain selection based on their performances at one of our trial days.
