
The new Active Kids voucher program came in to effect from 1 February 2024, with a change to the system administering the program.
All providers who have accepted Active Kids vouchers in previous years must be re-registered to the new system in order to accept vouchers from 1 February onwards. Provider status did not ‘roll-over’ from 1 February. Applications to be registered as a provider in the new system can be completed online through the Service NSW website.
The Active and Creative Kids voucher program will provide two $50 vouchers each calendar year to eligible parents, guardians and carers of school-aged children.
The vouchers:
- will be available
- twice a year, starting from February 2024
- to eligible parents, guardians and carers receiving a Family Tax Benefit
- can be used for eligible active or creative activities with registered providers
- must be redeemed before the expiry date on the voucher.
If you’re approved as an Active and Creative Kids provider, you’ll be able to accept and redeem vouchers from February 2024 through the Service NSW Business Bureau app.
