Men’s Singles Highlights

In a dominant performance, [6] Marc Polmans (AUS) cruised past wildcard Edward Winter (AUS), winning 6-2, 6-2. Meanwhile, [2] Thanasi Kokkinakis (AUS) showed his skill with a solid victory over Christian Langmo (USA), finishing 6-3, 6-4.

Top seed [1] Rinky Hijikata (AUS) faced a tough challenge against [Q] R. Matsuda (JPN) but managed to pull through after a tense three-set match, closing it out 7-6(5), 6-7(5), 6-4.

In an upset, Ajeet Rai (NZL) defeated [4] Alez Bolt (AUS) in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5, while [LL] Emile Hudd (GBR) also made headlines by sweeping past Dane Sweeny (AUS), 6-2, 6-2.

 

Women’s Singles Highlights

In women’s singles, [WC] Emmerson Jones (AUS) displayed a stellar performance, defeating Lizette Cabrera (AUS) decisively, 6-1, 6-1. Gabriella Da Silva Fick (AUS) put up a strong fight against [5] Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty, winning 7-5, 6-3.
