All Clubs and Centres
Life is better with tennis and the best place to learn tennis is at a club with the support of a coach and people who are also learning to play.
The NT has tennis clubs and centres across the Territory including in Alice Springs, Katherine, Nhulunbuy, Palmerston and Darwin. Tennis NT is located at the Darwin International Tennis Centre in Marrara.
Getting started is easy. All clubs have racquets and balls that can borrow too. Find your local club, get in contact and get on court.
ALICE SPRINGS
Alice Springs Tennis is Australia’s most remote tennis club, and the fastest-growing in the NT. All 10 courts were recently resurfaced, this club has 8 synthetic grass courts and 2 hardcourts.
KATHERINE
Katherine Tennis Club is famous for their warm welcome to new players and is the winner of the Tennis NT “Club of the Year” award in 2023. They have 6 courts and a great program for kids and adults.
NHULUNBUY
Gove Peninsula Tennis Club in Nhulunbuy is the 2024 winner of the Tennis NT “Club of the Year” award. One in ten people in Gove Peninsula are a member of this tennis club so get involved and get on court now.
PALMERSTON
Tennis Palmerston is a thriving 7 court club and a great place for people of all ages to meet people in the community and make friends. Join the Palmy Army and get ready to be obsessed with tennis!
DARWIN – Mindil Beach
Gardens Tennis Club is a community tennis club with a rich history and the beautiful sunsets of Mindil Beach as their backdrop. 12 courts.
DARWIN – Coconut Grove
Top End Multi Sports in Coconut Grove, known as “TEMS” is more than a tennis club. They offer a variety of sports alongside tennis group classes and private coaching. 6 courts.
DARWIN – Marrara
Darwin International Tennis Centre in Marrara is the home of major event tennis in the Territory with world-class facilities everyone can enjoy. 16 courts, if you want an extra workout, try the “uphill” court #15.
