Coach in the NT
The Northern Territory (NT) is a wonderful place to live for people who are interested to put a rocket under their career and experience life in a truly unique environment.
The “Eop End” of the NT which includes Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and Gove Peninsula tennis clubs, is a tropical climate. In simple terms you will experience two main seasons called “Dry” and “Wet”. Get ready to experience perfect weather with no rain from May to October (the “Dry”, and a lot of rain that can last from November to April (“Wet). In reality, living in the Top End is a lot more nuanced, and is about a lot more than the weather.
People who enjoy the Top End lifestyle are adventurers and rebels, with a laid back mindset and a deep love of the outdoors. People who move here from bigger cities enjoy the outdoors, the convenience of everyday life, and the community feel of living in a regional centre.
Of course the NT is a vast space, and is much bigger than the Top End where many tennis clubs are based. Central Australia is a vast landscape which contains the majestic Alice Springs. Alice Springs is a desert climate with hot summers and cold winters. Alice Springs has a rich history of tennis, having hosted ITF level tournaments in the recent past.
So if you are independent and ambitious, have a good sense of humour, and are open to a regional lifestyle, we invite you to get in touch with Tennis NT [email protected] about opportunities in the NT. Tennis NT has invested heavily to develop coaches based within the NT, this may be an opportunity for you to get the experience and support that only the NT can offer.
The NT clubs are always keen to hear from Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches who are ready for their next big adventure. Get in touch with us at [email protected] to find out more.
