In September 2024, we have a series of tennis events in Darwin, NT.

INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS: 

HOTEL

The official hotel for the series of tournaments is The Smith Hotel located at 81 Smith St, Darwin City NT 0800.

Players rooms are advertised at $110/night ($55 per person, twin share).

The discounts are valid for the full month of September 2024.

TRANSPORT

Different to previous years, in 2024 player transport will be will only be available from/to the ‘The Smith Hotel’ and the venue, the Darwin International Tennis Centre.

‘The Smith Hotel‘ is at 81 Smith Street, Darwin (opposite Woolworths Supermarket). The Darwin International Tennis Centre is at 9 Abala Road, Marrara (13 minute drive from the hotel).

Players staying in the Darwin central area can walk to the Smith Hotel to catch the regular shuttle bus to and from the venue.  Our transport schedule times will be from 12 noon until the end of play and will be published at the venue and at the hotel.

Matches will start each day from 3pm and continue under lights across all the match courts. Full player services on site will commence each match day from 1pm and run through to the conclusion of matches with practice courts available from 7am each day.

Accommodation in the Darwin area is limited and advanced bookings and checking of conditions of bookings is recommended.  Practice balls and practice courts will be available on-site from the day before qualifying.  Prior to this day they will be available for purchase at the host venue and court hire fees may apply.  Prizemoney will be paid in AUD bank transfer.  Draws, order of play and other circuit tournament information, local guide and visitor information and accommodation available on www.tennis.com.au/protour.  For tourist information on Darwin and the Northern Territory, please see this tourist website.
