DTC Sports and NTIS athlete Ben Lye has won his first Gold OJT tournament at the 2010 Medibank Cup.
Lye seeded number one defeated the 15th, 7th and 12th seeds on his way to the final of the Boys 12s singles, were he defeated 13th seed Kody Pearson 6-2 6-4.
Lye also advanced to the semi-finals of the Boys 12s doubles with partner Thomas Youl of Tasmania.
Fellow DTC Sports and NTIS athletes Brooke Milner and Tenille Waters also claimed victory in the Girls 12s doubles with a close 6-4 1-6 10-7 win over 8th seeds Linda Huang and Andrea Kilic of NSW. Milner also made the semi-finals of the singles while Waters made the Round of 16.
Nikki Milner also has a great tournament making the quarter-finals of the Girls 12s doubles and second round of the singles.
