Congratulations to the following athletes and coaches who represented the Northern Territory at the Optus 12s & 14s Australian Teams Championships, conducted in Melbourne during the December Showdown.
14s Girls Team
The NT finished 9that the Optus 14s Australian Teams Championships.
The team consisted of Emily Moo, Melanie Usher and coach Nicky Mayer.
12s Boys Team
The NT finished in a 9th and 10thplayoff with Victoria B at the Optus 12s Australian Teams Championships.
The team consisted of Alexander Cleanthous, Ben Lye, Michael Shepheard and coach Jamie Stefanato.
12s Girls Team
The NT finished in a playoff for 7th and 8thwith South Australia at the Optus 12s Australian Teams Championships.
The team consisted of Kailah Dunser, Brooke Milner, Tenille Waters and coach Pat Coburn.
Due to inclement weather the final positions for the 12s event was not completed. The 12s teams were not very luck with the Melbourne weather; however they have done their best in these circumstances.
