Kassandra Dunser has made the singles and doubles finals at the WTC City of Salisbury AMT in South Australia.
In a tough singles final Dunser was beaten 6-2 7-5 by New Caledonian Anaeve Pain. Dunser held a 5-3 lead in the second set before Pain came back to claim victory.
“Anaeve is an accomplished player and is in the Australian Open Junior Championships main draw, so in context, it was a great performance” said Rohan Fisher.
Dunser and doubles partner, Samoan Steffi Carruthers again stumbled at the doubles final hurdle going down to Anaeve Pain and South Australian Nicola Slater 7-6 6-2.
The pressure of advancing to three finals in her last two tournaments will hold Dunser well when she next travels to Melbourne to contest the Loy Yang Traralgon ITF International which leads into the qualifying event for the Australian Open Junior Championships.
