An Introduction to MLC Tennis Hot Shots course and a Tennis in Schools program was conducted by Tennis NT’s Community Tennis Officer, Jamie Stefanato to an eager group of parents, teachers and students of the Douglas Daly School.
Parents and teachers were up skilled in line with the MLC Tennis Hot Shots program, providing them with the basic skills of child development, group and lesson planning, safety aspects associated with tennis, modified games and activities. The parents and teachers relished the opportunity to show off their athletic abilities as they joined in the activities with the students.
The children enjoyed their time immensely, learning new skills whilst participating in some fun tennis activities using the Hot Shots modified equipment.
