The Alice Springs Tennis Association and Tennis Alice Springs is currently hosting the Alice Springs Tennis International 3 – 11 September 2011, one of 30 Australian Pro Tour tournaments held across Australia.
The tournament was offically opened by Alice Springs Lord Mayor, Damien Ryan on Saturday with on-court entertainment from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College choir. The Men’s and Women’s number one seeds (James Lemke and Sally Peers) were on hand to conduct the draws and answer a few questions from the students.
