Tennis NT’s Community Tennis Officer, Jamie Stefanato conducted a come and try day on the lawns of the Darwin Waterfront Precinct on 1 October 2011.

Over 60 participants showed off their grass court skills using the MLC Tennis Hot Shots modified equipment. Metropolitan coaches from DTC Sports and Gardens Tennis were on hand to deliver coaching tips. All participants received a small tennis memento.

Due to the success of the event, Darwin Waterfront Precinct has asked Tennis to return in January during the Australian Open – keep your eyes open for this event.
