The Gove Peninsula Tennis Club has once again defied the odds and is a Finalist at the Newcombe Medal – Australian Tennis Awards to be held 5 December 2011 at the Crown Entertainment Complex, Melbourne.
The club took out the Most Outstanding Club at the inaugural Newcombe Medal – Australian Tennis Awards in 2010. This year they will be competing for the Most Outstanding Tennis Community.
This award recognises the town, local government, or club that through tennis engages their community.
Congratulations Gove !!! and all the best at the Australian Tennis Awards.
