Darwin’s Nightcliff Primary School is the first school in Australia to have permanent MLC Tennis Hot Shots courts laid.

Australian tennis legend John Fitzgerald, MLC Tennis Hot Shots Tennis In Schools Ambassador will be on hand to officially open the three new mini courts on Thursday 26 July 2012 at 1.30pm.

Construction of the MLC Tennis Hot Shots courts was a joint venture between Tennis NT, led by Community Tennis Officer Jamie Stefanato, Nightcliff Primary School and Tennis Australia’s National Court Rebate Scheme.

The state-of-the-art mini courts have been built undercover, giving the students year round access to playing tennis.

MLC Tennis Hot Shots is Tennis Australia’s official development program, designed especially for primary school aged children.
