Tennis NT is proposing a similar mid-week modified competition to the Asia-Pacific Tennis League in the first half of 2013:
> 4 player teams
> Best of three sets [first to 4 games]
> one singles & one doubles
> no-ad scoring and a variety of other innovative concepts, which will be revealed in the lead-up to the competition, all driven at making the game exciting for both the players and the spectators
Background Information
The Asia-Pacific Tennis League or ATL consists of five conferences (NSW/ACT, QLD, SA, VIC and WA) made up of 28 Men’s and 28 Women’s teams competing for their conference championship during November 2012.
Conference champions progress to the ATL Play-offs, which will be hosted at Melbourne Park during the second week of the Australian Open.
