Day two of the Optus 14s Teams Championships was forecast to be a Melbourne scorcher; the blistering summer heat was such that it could already be felt by mid morning.
Both Teams were scheduled for a bye in Round 3 for the morning session, while Round 4 in the afternoon was postponed until Day 3 with the extreme heat rule coming into play.
