Dreams do come true… If you are determined and work hard toward your goals!

This is very applicable for two young athletes with NT connections that begin their US College journeys this month (August, 2017). Born in the NT and starting their tennis careers in the Territory at a young age has provided plenty of opportunity for the young athletes mentioned below.

Jesse Russell (18y.o)

Accepted to: Clemson University, South Carolina
Current Australian Ranking: 474

Information: 
Jesse has received a 40% scholarship to Clemson and is stoked to attempt to make his college’s tennis roster. He will have until December to impress the coaches and earn his place on the team.Jesse hopes that this pathway could provide a stepping stone to achieving his tennis dream of one day playing on the Professional circuit.

 

Brooke Milner (19y.o)

Accepted to: Stetson University, Florida

Information:
Brooke has received a Full Athletic Scholarship to Stetson University and will be studying Marine Biology. She was lucky enough to visit some US Colleges before making her decision and credits her time in Darwin as helping her make the final decision to attend Stetson.
Brooke is looking forward to this amazing opportunity and she is grateful for tennis to providing her with this pathway.
