We are proud of NT locals, Grace HARRIS, who took the winners trophy in the girls 14/u division, and Ethan HARKER who won the award for demonstrating the Rafa Nadal values in the boys 14/u division. As a result, both HARRIS and HARKER get to play in the Australian Rafa Nadal Masters hosted in Melbourne in January 2025!
The Rafa Nadal Tour was hosted for the third time in Darwin, at the Darwin International Tennis Centre in Marrara. There were boys and girls divisions playing across the 12s, 14s & 16s age groups
The Rafa Nadal junior tennis tour launched in Spain in 2014. It is special because it combines tennis with educational activities, focussed on Rafa’s key values which help players be a better player on the court, and a better person off the court. Those values are: humility, resilience, commitment, sportsmanship.
The Rafa Nadal Tour Pathway
The age group winners from this event are entered into the Australian Rafa Nadal Masters hosted in Melbourne in January 2025.
Also, each gender and age division has a Trophy of Values awarded to a person who demonstrates the Rafa Nadal values on and off the court. The values winners also get an entry into the Australian Rafa Nadal Masters.
From the participants at the Masters event, a select few get the chance to attend the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca for two weeks of training and an unforgettable experience later in 2025 (subject to confirmation).
