The Women Leaders in Tennis program just celebrated the graduation of their second cohort of women who have completed the program.

This program spans four months including in-person and remote sessions across the group. The women taking part in 2024 are active in their local NT tennis community, including representatives from Alice Springs, Katherine, and Darwin.

This program enhances the NT community by building leadership confidence and networks amongst the tennis community. Participants all took part in regular coursework which culminated in the presentation of projects centered around initiatives to grow tennis in the NT.

We are grateful for the time and support of all of the women who graduated from the course this year and in 2023 – they all came together with some celebratory networking to end the program, many staying on to watch the Pro Tours tennis being hosted at the Darwin International Tennis Centre at Marrara.

Many thanks to all of the women who took part, also to Jessica Polack for her tireless work to bring these women together, Clair Turner for insights and facilitating the program, and Tennis Australia for believing in a future where there are no limits for women and girls on and off the court.
