Competition Recommendations
- Maintain a balance between coaching and competition
- Achieve a win loss ratio of between 2:1 and 3:1 throughout the year
- Be prepared to adjust the competition schedule based on win loss ratio
- Athletes learn more about their strengths and weaknesses
- Have an experienced coach observe the athlete’s progress during matches
- Learning to compete well is one of the most important skills to learn
