Advantage Queensland 2026
Tennis Queensland’s Advantage Queensland 2026 strategy aims to make tennis the leading sport in the state for participation, inclusivity, and accessibility. Building on the 2024 plan, it aligns with national reviews and the Queensland Government’s Activate! Queensland 2029 strategy.
The plan focuses on four key pillars: Tennis Courts & Facilities, Tennis Communities, Tennis Competitions & Pathways, and Tennis Coaches. Priorities include ensuring accessible, sustainable venues, strengthening community engagement, enhancing player pathways, and developing a strong coaching workforce.
Strategic foundations such as governance, financial sustainability, diversity, government relations, and event leverage support these efforts. With over 400,000 Queenslanders interested in playing tennis in the next year, Advantage Queensland 2026 positions the sport for long-term growth, innovation, and success.
