Congratulations Gold Coast team!!!

For the second year in a row, the Gold Coast junior team has come away as QJTC champions.

It was very close again (with Met North hot on our heels) but the end result was never in doubt!!!

It was fantastic to see all 48 Gold Coast players chasing every ball, crushing backhands down the line and fighting for every point. With well over 300 players in this event, it is also fantastic to see regional teams travelling over 1000km (by bus!!) to compete..

A big thank you to Team Captains and assisting Team Managers (parents) for motivating your teams and again to parents for allowing this team to achieve another historical victory. Special thanks to Snappy Uniforms at Ashmore for providing subsidised team shirts.

Special thank you to the TD�s and to Alishia Hocking for coordinating the event.

I think it is fair to say we have a team of champions and a champion team which makes an unbeatable combination. Both our A teams and B teams did exceedingly well against some tough opposition with 3 of our teams becoming division winners and other is 3rd and 4th placing.
