The 2011 Queensland Wheelchair Tennis Open is well underway. Despite rain delays, the tournament has seen some fierce competition for the top spots with blockbuster finals today and tomorrow.

The tournament which began on Thursday 6 and will run until Sunday 9 January is the first NEC event for the Australian Summer Wheelchair Tennis Tour and welcomes both international and domestic talents.

World number 40 men’s doubles pair Robert Lindstedt (SWE) and Horia Tecau (ROU) came out to meet the wheelchair tennis players.

Lindstedt and Tecau have a hit with world number two Australian Daniela Di Toro and Michael Dobbie.
