With the Brisbane River bursting it’s banks, the State Tennis Centre felt the full force of mother nature.

The lower lying clay and grass courts were completely submerged by over 3m of water. Pat Rafter Arena has been turned into a fishbowl.

One of the greatest disasters QLD has ever seen, the floods of 2011 have also destroyed many other tennis facilities across the state.
