Former Wimbledon champion and Queenslander Pat Cash welcomed Six China Future Stars from Beijing at his tennis academy on the Gold Coast. 

The boys and girls from Beijing were the winning recipients of an “18-day Tennis Tour DOWNUNDER Australia”, which included a VIP Australian Open experience and the opportunity to be part of a training camp at the Pat Cash academy. 

Pat Cash was happy to share some tips wtih the junior China stars, offering new techniques to help improve their game. 
 
“These kids are picking up so much here and dealing with the hot weather and training has been an adaptation to their sport,” Cash commented.

Also during their tour, the juniors were treated to an Australian Open experience, where they watched fellow country-woman Na Li battle her way through the rounds to reach the tournament’s final.

The tour’s supporters Southern Star Sports Academy and IFENG media, are happy with the success of the trip, and are confident this is just the first of many more to come.
