Tennis Queensland is celebrating a winter of tennis, with our state’s biggest and most prestigious events!

Served up first on court is the 2011 Plexicushion Queensland Open. Held from the 25-28^th of June at the Queensland Tennis Centre, this tournament is our state’s pinnacle open event.

Following on from last year’s “Twilight Finals” success, this year will prove to be bigger and better than ever! The event will be held on Tuesday, June 28 from 4pm. Including a free BBQ, this is an open invitation which is sure to provide tennis lovers with some top class match play!

Keeping in theme, Tennis Queensland will also be hosting a Winter Wonderland White Party, on Sunday June 26. The event starts at 6pm and will be held in the Eastern Terrace at Queensland Tennis Centre. Players will receive two FREE entry tickets, others can be purchased on the night for $15- all welcome. Plus, there are prizes for the best dressed. More info to come!

Following on from the Plexicushion Queensland Open are the Rod Laver lead in events from July 1-4, which will be held at various tennis centres across Brisbane.

These events are fantastic preparation for one of the most anticipated Queensland junior tournaments, the 2011 Tennis & Gear Online Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships from July 5-9. This is Queensland’s largest junior event, with over 600 participants from all over Australia!

There will be a Winter Wonderland Defrost BBQ held at the Queensland Tennis Centre on Saturday July 9 for the 2011 Tennis & Gear Online Rod Laver QLD Junior Championship finals. Again, this event is open to the public and will prove to be a wonderful day of outstanding junior tennis and a FREE BBQ!

Online entry is currently open here for the 2011 Tennis & Gear Online Rod Laver Junior Championships . Entries close on Tuesday June 21.
