Junior athletes from around the country and overseas are travelling to Brisbane to take part in the 2011 Tennis & Gear Online Rod Laver Queensland Junior Championships.

The tournament is the largest held in Queensland and boasts over 500 participants this year. 

The Tennis & Gear Online Rod Laver Queensland Junior Championships will be held from July 5-9, across 5 venues including the Queensland Tennis Centre- home of the Brisbane International.

This event is a great stepping stone for junior players who one day dream of competing on the international stage. Past winners include current world no.10 Samantha Stosur, Bernard Tomic, Jason Kubler and 2011 Wimbledon Junior Champion Ashleigh Barty.

Finals will be played from 9am, Saturday July 9 at the Queensland Tennis Centre with a free BBQ starting from 10am. All welcome!
