The 2011 Queensland Tennis Awards Night was held on Saturday night, October 29, at the Queensland Tennis Centre.

The event celebrated tennis in Queensland and showcased our state’s top achievers.

Award winners were as follows:

Most Outstanding Coach – MLC Hot Shots: Danial Stredder
Most Outstanding Coach – Club: Clint Fyfe
Most Outstanding Coach – High Performance: Matt Limpus
Excellence in Officiating: James Tucker
Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability: Mitchell James
Most Outstanding 35 + Senior Player: Alan Hocking
Geoffrey E Griffith Order of Merit : Margaret Daniell
Most Outstanding Tennis Parents: Ashley & Sherry Walton
Most Outstanding Tennis Club: The Gap
Most Outstanding Tournament: Head QLD State Age
Junior Player of the Year: Ashleigh Barty
Player of the Year : Sam Stosur
