The Gold Coast’s Totally Teeth JDS team, travelled to Rockhampton in late October for the QLD JDS State Finals.  After a year of hard-fought regional tennis, the top teams from each region (8) came to Central Queensland for one of the tournaments of the year.

In 2011, the GC had a full team of 11/U – 17/U with Cameron Becker-Jones leading the way as Team Captain.  The Gold Coast looked the goods at the Rockhampton Regional Centre which is comprised of 24 courts (how good is that!?).

In the end, Central Qld had the luck on their side (and the control of points allocation and TD) coming away with the title.

Central QLD 1st with Nth QLD 2nd and Gold Coast 3rd.

The GC Team gave it a good crack with team supervisors Stephen Kua, Connie Chan, Marion Laughlin and Nathan Griffiths. It came down to only a few points difference between the top three teams who were well clear of the rest. CBJ the only GC winner!! Sam Cameron, Hason Hodge and Lara Tupper R/U.
