Tennis took home major honours at last night’s Queensland Sport Awards in Brisbane.  

It was a fantastic evening for Queensland tennis, where three major awards were won by James Tucker (Sports Official of the Year), Ashleigh Barty (Junior Sports Star of the Year) and Samantha Stosur (Queensland’s Sport Star of the Year).

To cap off the award winning trifecta, tennis greats Roy Emerson and Rod Laver were among nine other sporting legends inducted into the Queensland Sporting Hall Of Fame.

Samantha Stosur was thrilled to receive the Queensland Sport Star of the Year award.
