The Gold Coast Super Sports Sign On Day was held over the weekend at Broadwater Parklands in Southport.

Gold Coast Community Tennis Officer Tanya Corbett, felt the event was a fantastic opportunity for kids and their families to see what tennis in the region has to offer.

“The Super Sports Sign-on day was a great way for locals to check out some of our fantastic programs such as MLC Tennis Hot Shots or our exciting new national program, Cardio Tennis,” Corbett said.

“Seeing all the kids having so much fun out on the mini courts, taking away prize packs and a tennis experience was altogether a wonderful way to promote the sport we love!”

The day saw around 1500 enthusiastic youngsters, and promoted various sports on offer in the Gold Coast Region.
