The Ingham JDS tournament played 25th and 26th August, 2012 attracted a record number of paricipants, with around 130 juniors competing in the last A circuit tournament before the JDS A Finals in Townsville next month.

An MLC Tennis Hot Shots Challenge was conducted on Sunday morning (26^th August), alongside the JDS tournament in Ingham.

This was followed by the Official Opening of courts 6 and 7, which was a project of the Flood Fightback Program, after Cyclone Yasi caused extensive damage and flooding in early 2011.  Funding of $256,000 was secured through the Queensland Government, Tennis Australia and Tennis Queensland, to lift courts 6 and 7, construct a walkway, install new fences, and resurface courts 13 and 14.
