We have an exciting event coming up here on the Gold Coast and we’d like you to come along – the Brisbane International Festival of Tennis!!!
The Brisbane International Festival of Tennis will hit two clubs on Wednesday 10th October & Thursday 11th October with patrons given the chance to get their pictures taken with the Roy Emerson and Evonne Goolagong-Cawley trophies as well as take part in many of the off-court activities that happen during the Brisbane International.
The Brisbane International has grown over its short history to be one of Queensland’s premier sporting events attracting international stars such as Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Kim Clijsters, Sam Stosur and Serena Williams.
2012 marks the second year of this free state-wide tour with the Festival of Tennis offering communities throughout Queensland an opportunity to be part of all the action away from the event.
The Brisbane International Festival of Tennis will be held on:
- TGC/Queens Park Tennis (19 Queen St, Southport) on Wednesday 10th October
- Breakpoint Tennis (Radisson Resort, Palm Meadows Drive, Palm Meadows) on Thursday 11th October.
Each day, locals are invited to attend an interactive the FREE festival which will be held in the afternoon from 4pm – 6pm.
Tennis enthusiasts of all ages will have the opportunity to get a photo with the Brisbane International trophies, enjoy a free BBQ, interact with Terry the Tennis Ball, try their luck on the Speed Serve machine, receive tennis prizes and participate in fun activities including the MLC Tennis Hot Shots and Cardio Tennis.
