Paul Hanley (AUS) and Eric Butorac (USA) were a hit on Show Court 1 this morning with the kids from the All Champs Tennis Academy on the Gold Coast and their enthusiastic coaches Michael Parker and Steph Goodwin.

The kids were surprised with a visit by the pair on court and were keen to showcase their MLC Tennis Hot Shots skills. Following the half hour on court session, they were then treated to a question and answer and autograph signing session in the grandstands.

Hanley and Butorac are currently in the main draw doubles at the Brisbane International and had an exciting first round win over Chris Guccione and Lleyton Hewitt 6-4, 7-6 yesterday.

As an added bonus all of the kids were then treated to a centre court experience on Pat Rafter Arena to top off their day.

MLC Tennis Hot Shots (MLCTHS) is just for kids. Smaller courts, lighter racquets and low compression balls that don’t bounce too high make learning tennis fun and easy for primary school-aged children. This means that kids are able to start rallying and having fun right from their first lesson!
