As a part of a Tennis Queensland (TQ) initiative to help clubs improve their facilities and grow their membership base, TQ has awarded two $5000 grants at the Presidents Brunch held during the 2013 Brisbane International.
Congratulations to the two recipients for 2013, Moura Tennis Club in the Central region and Ravensbourne Tennis Association in the South region.
All affiliates who increased their membership base from the 2011 to 2012 calendar year were eligible to enter this opportunity.
Moura and Ravensbourne will be able to use this funding to enhance their facilities and promote their competitions throughout the local area.
In addition, TQ granted Dalby & District Tennis Association $2000 after being drawn from TQ’s early affiliation incentive program for 2013.
The final prize awarded from the President’s Brunch was tennis equipment and memorabilia prize pack to Clifton Beach Tennis Club after being drawn from the affiliation survey competition.
Congratulations to all affiliates who received grants to develop their respective clubs for 2013. For more information on affiliate benefits and opportunities to receive grants click here.
