In light of the recent flooding of QLD communities, Tennis Queensland (TQ) are taking precautionary measures to ensure the recently refurbished Queensland Tennis Centre stays dry and in the great shape we saw during the 2012/13 Brisbane International. Check out the photos below of our flood gates, currently barricading the facilities and ready to be tested thanks to the help of TQ staff over the Australia Day long weekend.  Preparation and vigilance with measures such as these are important to the Tennis community to ensure the safety of all during these unpredictable times.
