Our boys battled it out on the courts yesterday in the Nature’s Way Sydney Tennis International and Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Whilst Tomic was forced to retire early in the 1st set of his Dubai match, it was another story back on home ground in Sydney.

Second seed John Millman was a comfortable winner against Japan’s Yasutaka Uchiyama 6-3 6-0, but the real excitement came from Ben Mitchell who took out third seed Hiroki Moriya (JPN) in 3 sets 6-3 3-6 6-1.

Both men will return in round 16 in the hope of continuing their winning streaks. Their next match ups are listed below:
