Australian John Millman saved a match point to win his second Challenger title of 2013 in the Kyoto Challenger over the weekend.

Although higher seeded, Marco Chiudinelli (2) looked strong coming into the pointy end of the third set, Millman showed mental toughness and determination to bring it home. He won 4-6 6-4 7-6(2).

The 23-year-old Queenslander now has his second challenger trophy of the season, after Burnie. He received $5,000 and 80 points, which should help him reach a new career high near #130 ATP when the latest rankings are released.

In the WTA, Sam Stosur is still alive after a 6-4 4-6 6-3 win against American Madison Keys in the BNP Paribas Open – Indian Wells, CA, USA. She will play Shuai Peng (CHN) in her next round.
