22 March 2013 | Tennis Queensland

Tennis Queensland (TQ) is seeking to contract a suitably qualified and experienced Tennis Operator (TO) to deliver tennis programs at the Cairns International Tennis Centre and Townsville Regional Tennis Centre – Kalynda Chase. Specifically, the focus of the Tennis Operator will be on (but not limited to) –

  • Coaching
  • Competitions
  • Court Hire

A pro shop space is also on offer.

The term on offer is an initial three (3) year agreement; with a potential for a five (5) year option at TQ’s sole discretion.

As the lease holder, TQ will provide venue management services to all tenants of the CITC. Through its partnership with Cairns Regional Council (CRC) and the Queensland Government, TQ is duty bound to create a sustainable centre that will self generate funds for future maintenance and development. Based on this, TQ will contract the successful TO as a licensee of the CITC according to their demonstrated ability to meet specific tennis objectives (outlined within) and through an agreed contribution to the operating costs of the CITC.
