Community tennis visited Charters Towers Tennis Club yesterday.   Club coach John Single inviting me down to join in his “Golden Oldies” session.   It was an early start for me with the session getting underway at 7:15am.

John had a great turn out with 10 players who were already warming up to the smooth sounds of classic rock being played on the sound system.   We played until 8:30 and then were treated to Coffee and home made cakes.   After presenting some players with prizes donated by Tennis Queensland for “moments of the day” John kindly took us on a tour of Charters Towers in his bus.   A great time was had by all.
