How would you like Roger Federer to be playing for your town at Australian Open 2014?
And how would you like to win lots of prizes for yourself, your school, tennis club or community, simply by playing tennis?
Introducing the AO Blitz – a Grand Slam game for everyone!
The AO Blitz is a national competition that allows people who play tennis – and those who have never picked up a racquet – the chance to win major prizes and have an Australian Open 2014 player represent their local town or community.
That’s right. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Sam Stosur, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova … the stars of international tennis could be playing for your town this summer.
All you have to do to earn points is play the game you love!
So how tennis are you?
Individuals (everyone!): Have you registered on the AO Blitz website in order to be first to know when the competition starts? Are you ready to participate in fun tennis-based activities at events (find your local event below) and online? |
Schools: Are you registered as part of the National School Partnership Program? Do your students play MLC Tennis Hot Shots? Have you heard of Cardio Tennis? If your primary school is not yet involved in MLC Tennis Hot Shots, visit hotshots.tennis.com.au to check out the various ways your school can get on board. Secondary schools are invited to register for Cardio Tennis at cardiotennis.com.au. |
Clubs: Do you deliver MLC Tennis Hot Shots and Cardio Tennis? Are you registered for Community Play? If not, visit hotshots.tennis.com.au and cardiotennis.com.au to find out how to get involved. |
Coaches: As a registered Tennis Australia Coach Member do you deliver MLC Tennis Hot Shots or Cardio Tennis? Is your club involved in Community Play? If not, visit hotshots.tennis.com.au and cardiotennis.com.au to get started today. |
These programs will all earn you bonus points in the AO Blitz and help push your school, club or community higher up the national leaderboard.
The AO Blitz will be hitting the road and visiting every state and territory of Australia, from now until the start of Australian Open 2014. Take a look at when we’ll be in your area below and make sure you come and visit to earn bonus points, win extra prizes and have some fun activities* such as:
