The first ever combined men’s and women’s Pro Tour event will begin in Toowoomba next month. The Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba International opens on the 7th September 2013, closely followed by the Cairns Tennis International starting on the 14th.

The draws showcase players from a variety of countries as well as many strong leading Australians.

Four Queensland men will compete in the men’s main draw at Toowoomba and will face the likes of top seed Matt Reid who recently qualified for the main draw in Wimbledon. The men’s field also includes former world junior number one Luke Saville.

The women’s main draw presented by Tilly’s Crawler Parts will include young Queenslander Lizette Cabrera while Isabella Holland and Priscilla Hon will also look to qualify. They will come up against fellow Australian players Azra Hadzic, Jessica Moore and Sally Peers.

This year, as well as the top-class tennis on court, the Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba International will include a free AO Blitz event, Indigenous come-and-try day, MLC Tennis Hot Shots in Schools visits, Tennis family fun day and the Hutchies Corporate Challenge, providing something for everyone who comes along.

More information on the Cairns event will be available soon.
