Queensland have reclaimed the Bruce Cup after going through the event undefeated.

The 2013 Australian Primary School Championships were held in Brisbane from 19-26 of October with 8 states and territories vying for the prestigious Bruce Cup trophy.

After winning the title 5 years in a row, Queensland succumbed to South Australia at last year’s event. Lighting nearly struck twice but QLD dug deep to beat their rivals 13-11 on day 5.

They continued their great form by soundly defeating New South Wales and Victoria over the next 2 days.

Next year’s event will be played in Darwin as QLD will be looking to continue their dominance in the Primary competition.
