This years Junior teams carnival has just been completed in Brisbane, with our North Team competed strongly and came away with a couple of good results.

The North team finished 8 out of the 9 teams competing with teams from all over Queensland, Northern NSW and Northern Territory. The field was strong and competitive with the Gold Coast taking out top honors.

4. Metropolitan North – 8.125
5. Northern NSW – 8.625
6. Northern Territory – 8.75
7. Central – 8.857
8. North Queensland – 10.5
9. South – 11.2

Some positive individual results came from the week as well with Mikayla Zahirovic the number 1 seed in the 11’s winning her singles event and Lily Clements-Markham also number 1 seed winning the 13’U event.  Ryusuke Ikeda also gets a special mention for winning his 13 boys feed-in event on finals day.

The team had  some good finishes with the 11’s in 5th, 13’s in 4th, 15’s in 11th and the 17’s in 4th. All the results can be found at the link set below.
