Yesterday at the Brisane international we had 3 australians win matches back to back on Pat Rafter Arena. Marinko Matosevic started the day off with a win followed by Casey Dellacua. The trifecta was consolidated with a great win by Ash Barty who now goes on to face Sharapova in the next round.

Hewitt and Guccione didn’t do quite as well they went down in a third set tiebreaker.

Hewitt is in action tonight against a fellow australian, Kokkinakis to kick off the big night of tennis on new years eve.

Anyone down in Brisbane Should get into the Brisbane International and support the Aussies as we start the New Year.
