Kellerman becomes first Australian champion in the Brisbane International 2014 Queensland Wheelchair Open
Tennis fans of all ages were treated to some great entertainment in the Wheelchair Tennis Open event during the Brisbane International 2014.
The Queensland Wheelchair Tennis Open, an ITF Series Two event, was played on site at the Brisbane International with 23 players from across the globe descending upon Brisbane for the four days of competition. Valuable prize money and world ranking points were up for grabs for the men’s and women’s champion.
Ju-Yeon Park won an enthralling women’s singles final defeating Japan’s Miho Nijo in three sets whilst Australia’s Adam Kellerman was the first ever local winner of the event defeating Miki Takuya from Japan in another three set final.
