The Brisbane City Council has called for proposals from prospective operators of the new Roy Emerson Tennis Centre at Frew Park on Milton Road (on the old Milton Tennis Centre site). This facility will have 6 new acrylic surfaced full sized tennis courts plus a hit up wall with 2 Hot Shots mini-courts line marked on the slab for the hit up wall. There is also a two storey clubhouse overlooking these courts and the extensive public parklands that will surround this facility. Interested parties will need to register as a supplier with the Brisbane City Council to obtain a copy of the tender documents for this exciting business opportunity. Follow the link below to the page on the Brisbane City Council’s website where these documents can be accessed once you have registered through the Council’s Supplier Portal (to which there is a hot link contained within this linked page).
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with demonstrated expertise in operating a significant tennis facility and this new centre will be a great addition to the tennis landscape in metropolitan Brisbane in the near future.
