The Beenleigh Tennis Centre were winners of the 2013 Cardio Tennis Queensland Challenge led by Cardio Tennis coach Alison Scott with Chantel Jamieson, Assistant Cardio Tennis Coach.
The eight Beenleigh participants took to centre court on Pat Rafter Arena during the Brisbane International and you know they went through a thorough warm-up before getting into the action.
The Cardio Tennis QLD Challenge was calculated on the average amount of all calories burnt per session over a 15 week period, and the challenge was between the Queensland Tennis Centre, Innisfail Tennis Centre and the Beenleigh Tennis Centre respectively.
Each of the Beenleigh players gave 200% in each session and their drive, their determination and fierce competitive edge made this challenge lots of fun.
MC Stephen Phillips also showcased some Cardio Tennis success stroies from the Beenleigh Tennis Club which included Michele Potts who lost 15 kilograms over three months and Sharon Scott who lost 12 kilos over 12 months.
It was clear on the night the club, coaches and participants at Beenleigh love Cardio Tennis and they were very proud to be on Pat Rafter Arena during the Brisbane International.
